Bedoc has been asked to undertake first Pfizer vaccine doses for over 18s over the next 3 weeks to support uptake of covid vaccinations in Bedford Borough residents (or registered with a Bedford Borough GP) to help support the response to the surge in cases in Bedford. Unfortunately uptake for vaccine has been very slow and we have spare capacity and vaccinators. We run the risk of wasting vaccine if we cannot get the slots filled.
