Don’t forget you can get your COVID-19 booster dose if it’s been 3 months since you had your 2nd dose and you are:
- aged 18 and over
- aged 16 and over with a health condition that puts you at high risk from COVID-19
- a frontline health or social care worker

If you’ve had a positive COVID-19 test, you need to wait before getting any dose of the vaccine including your booster. You need to wait:
- 4 weeks (28 days) if you’re aged 18 years old or over
- 12 weeks (84 days) if you’re aged 12 to 17 years old
- 4 weeks (28 days) if you’re aged 12 to 17 years old and at high-risk from COVID-19
This starts from the date you had symptoms, or the date of the positive test if you did not have any symptoms.
