Create a town that people are proud to live in and excited to visit

We’re on a fact-finding mission and we need your help to understand what you as a resident, business or visitor to Bedford or Kempston think we need to make our towns places people are proud to live in and excited to visit.

Here are some pointers to help with your thoughts and ideas:

Why do you come to our town centres?
How can we brighten up our town centres?
How can Bedford and Kempston become more family-focused?
Should we make more of the history of the areas?
How would you improve the entrances to our town centres?

Bedford Borough Citizens’ Panel

Tell us what you think about local issues by joining our Citizens’ Panel. As a panel member, you will be asked to take part in at least two surveys a year. Your responses can make a big difference to key decisions taken by the Council. The Citizens Panel was established in 1999 and is used to gather public ideas and opinions on a range of topics that relate to Bedford Borough Council and the services we provide.
