Sports Update – July 2024

FREE Taster Sessions are a fantastic way for children aged 4-15 and adults of all abilities to try tennis in a fun and supportive environment. From the Blue/Red group for the youngest enthusiasts (4-7 years) at 10am to adults (16 plus years), at 12.15pm.

We offer a range of sessions tailored to every age. Book in advance to secure a spot and discover the joy of tennis!

GLL, the Borough’s Leisure facilities operator are seeking to appoint a Community Sport Manager to work across the leisure and sport facilities in Bedford Borough.

The primary role of a Community Sport Manager is to work with Bedford Borough communities to increase participation in sport and leisure based activities, reducing inequalities and improving their physical health and mental well-being.

The Adventure Club runs throughout the school holidays (half terms and school holidays) at £35 per day or discounted at £139 (5 days) from 8.15am to 4.15pm daily.

Outdoor activities including canoeing, kayaking, stand-up paddle boarding, bushcraft, team challenges, indoor climbing, and high ropes course.
