Please see update below on works completed this week, as well as planned works for Mill Road this weekend.
Works completed this week;
- Installation of filter drain and outstanding gullies
- Continued with the new footpath construction on Mill Road roundabout
- Continued with prepping the road including the final trim type 1 subbase
- Continued with construction of the flow control manhole
- Liner to pond 5 installed and started to import topsoil
- Completed the granite sets on the roundabout
- Installed the new lamp columns and posts for the permanent signage on Mill Road
Planned works this weekend;
- Tarmac carriageway 2nd phase & binder to footway
- Install further road crossing as requested by NG
- Continue with topsoil works pond 5
- A full road closure will be in place on both Saturday and Sunday
Next week;
- Continue construction of the roundabout.
- We will be looking to flip the Traffic Management to release works on the other side of road
