Bedford Giving – Grant Opportunities

Bedford Giving, is a collaborative, cross sector partnership formed to improve the lives of children and young people facing disadvantage in Bedford.

Everything Bedford Giving does is grounded in evidence of local need and follows the key principle of listening to and learning from people who have lived experience of the issues we are trying to tackle. As a result, this programme has been developed by a panel of Bedford parents of children aged 5 and under, and they will make the decisions on which applications are funded.

We are inviting funding applications from voluntary sector organisations working with children aged 5 and under and their families.

The Parent Panel have identified two areas where their experience tells them there are gaps in services and opportunities for children of 5 and under, and their families:

  • Provide Affordable and Accessible Recreational, Creative or Educational Activities for children aged five and under and their families.

  • Opportunities for parents of young children to meet and offer mutual support.

To find out more about this funding opportunities you can visit the Bedford Giving website here: Apply for a Grant – Bedford Giving
