Get Boosted

The COVID-19 Omicron variant is now spreading rapidly in the UK, with scientists predicting that a large increase in hospitalisations is likely by January. Real world data from the UK shows that the booster jab is 70 to 75% effective against Omicron, so please encourage any family, friends and loved ones to get their booster as soon as possible.

You can get your COVID-19 booster dose if it’s been 3 months since you had your second dose and you are;

  • aged 18 and over
  • aged 16 and over with a health condition that puts you at high risk from COVID-19
  • a frontline health or social care worker

For more information on boosters and third vaccination doses visit the CCG website.

Free taxi rides to local COVID-19 vaccination centres are available.

For participating taxi numbers and how to book, visit our website.

If you’ve not had your first dose yet, it’s not too late and vaccinators would be delighted to see you. If you had your first COVID-19 vaccination on or before 24 October, you’re now due for your second dose.
