Calling all Bedford Sports Club Leaders

Greenwich Leisure Limited will be hosting its first annual GLL Sport Foundation awards evening at Bedford International Athletics Stadium on Thursday the 19 September, 6pm – 8.00pm (5.30pm arrivals).

The event is to award the Bedford Borough athletes who received support from the GLL Sport Foundation this year with their GSF awards, there will be a presentation from Peter Bundey (GLL’s CEO) and a Q&A with the athletes.

The Foundation is focused on supporting athletes across the UK to develop performance and achieve sporting success.

It will also be a great opportunity to learn more about the GLL Sport Foundation and how the foundation might be able to support other Bedford Borough athletes in the future. We would therefore welcome other club leaders who would like to register to attend and find out more.

The GLL Sport Foundation is the largest independent athlete support programme in the UK. The Foundation is operated by Charitable Social Enterprise GLL.

The GLL Sport Foundation has supported athletes since 2007 to achieve their supporting potential, including athletes who have gone on to compete in both the Olympic and Para-Olympic games.
