This week’s snapshot shows 363 cases of COVID-19 found in Bedford Borough in the week up to 4 July.
This is an increase over 162 on last week and the full snapshot on our website shows that our rate of cases per 100,000 of the population has nearly doubled in a week to over 200.
We are urging people to keep being careful. The COVID-19 restrictions continue to be in place to keep ourselves, our friends and families and our communities safe.
Remember Hands, Face, Space and Fresh Air and if you have not already, please go and get vaccinated. This is such a vital step in keeping yourself and your loved ones safe. Everyone can get their second dose after eight weeks.
Drop-in COVID-19 vaccinations for everyone aged over 18 are available in Bedford Borough at Bedford Heights, Manton Lane and at some pharmacies.
Getting vaccinated is such an easy and important step in the fight against COVID-19 and keeping yourself and your loved ones safe. Now that everyone can get their second dose after eight weeks, what are you waiting for?!
