Our new community café, ‘Café Connect – Queens Park’, had a really successful launch on the 15th November.
Our brilliant volunteers worked tirelessly to cook fantastic home-cooked food. We were joined by many local residents, local councillors, the High Sheriff and many Bedford-based services. Bedford Creative Arts provided a badge making activity for children and Tibbs Dementia offered free hand massages, home cooked food and a chance to socialise. |

We have had a really successful start to our new ‘Dad’s Dinners’ course in collaboration with Food Etc.
4 dad’s and their children have already enjoyed 3 weeks of cooking delicious meals on a budget and are looking forward to the next few weeks of culinary delights! More dates to be offered in the new year. |

| The Maternity Social Prescribing Team offer help during pregnancy, exploring what is important for your health and wellbeing.
We will help you to identify and discuss local activities and services you can benefit from and the support which is available to you. |

| Getting ready to start school can be a big transition but, as a parent you are your child’s best educator – after all, you have been supporting your child with lifelong skills from the very start and know them best.
Bedford Borough want all children to have the best start in life. The Ready Family, Ready Child, Ready School clips and guidance will support you and your child with the transition to school and beyond. |

| The Bedford Parent Carer Forum is a group of parents and carers of children with special educational needs or disabilities (SEND) who work with Bedford Borough Council, education settings, health providers and other providers to ensure they meet the needs of children and families with SEND.
Complete their annual survey to have a chance to share your views on the care and support your child has received. |

The Parent Carer forum have some Christmas Coffee mornings at Project 229. Come along and speak to the local charities and organisations who can help support you and your children with SEND. |

Bedford Music Hub have a huge range of clubs, groups and classes for anyone aged 7-16. |
