Welcome to SEND Matters

Welcome to the latest edition of SEND Matters. I hope you find the information inside interesting
and helpful.

This is bumper edition filled with information about activities during Easter and Summer holidays as well as exciting updates about the upcoming inclusive play park in Bedford.

Thank you to everyone involved in creating SEND Matters and in developing the advice, guidance and provision available for children with SEND and their families in Bedford Borough. I strongly believe that the relationships between all partners in
Bedford Borough are making a real difference to the lives of so many children and families.

Spring is my favourite time of year; more daylight and improved weather create more opportunities to be outside and always seem to create a more positive outlook for the future. I hope you find time to enjoy these opportunities as well.

Please keep an eye on the Local Offer for more updates about new activities. If you would like to contribute to future editions of SEND Matters; highlighting what you are currently doing, or asking for support, please contact sendprogramme@bedford.gov.uk.

Best wishes,

Ben
