Relaxing Mindful Pilates

Every Monday in person at the calm and peaceful Higgins museum. From 2.45pm-3.30pm the session offers a great opportunity to relax and stretch.

No booking required and just turn up on a first come first served basis and pay on the day.

From chair based Yoga to floor based Pilates there are a range of options. The gentle sessions are suitable for those recovering from injury or to add to a balanced exercise programme. Mental Health Awareness in Sport

Online workshop taking place on the 8th April 2022.

This course aims to support Sports / Physical activity tutors, Clubs, coaches, volunteers and leisure staff to have the confidence to recognise the signs of mental health problems and to have the confidence to talk to people about this and signpost them to the correct services.

Mindful Yoga in the Town centre (Howard Room)

Returning in the Howard Room on Wednesday 23rd February at 1pm. A gentle and relaxing yoga session to calm the mind and stretch the body. A floor based practice with simple beginner moves and flows. The session is designed with mental health in mind and there is an emphasis on breathing and focus.

The session is first come first served and there is no booking necessary. (Mats are available + sanitised before and after each session.) Enter via the Corn Exchange and head up to the first floor. Contact Robert.lindsay@bedford.gov.uk with any enquiries.
