Active Adults

AA BannerBookings are now open for the Active Adults programme that commences week beginning Monday 30 September.

Some of the most popular courses are now full however, visit the website for further information and the updated list of courses which still have places which include archery, badminton, bowls, dance, golf and yoga.

Bedford Junior Aquathlon

BJAThe next Junior Aquathlon will take place on Sunday 13 October at Robinson Pool in Bedford Park for children and young people in school years 3 to 11 (as at September 2024).

Bookings are now open and the closing date for entries will be Tuesday 1 October at 5.30pm.

LLBLive Longer Better – Bedford is a programme of exercise and physical activity sessions aimed at people 60 plus.

BAThe September edition of the Be Active Bedfordshire newsletter is now available.

The September issue has the latest information from the sport and physical activity sector across Bedfordshire.

Health and Wellbeing Day  –  John Bunyan Sports and Fitness

H and W D GLLThe GLL Healthwise team at John Bunyan Sports and Fitness are holding a Health and Wellbeing Day at the centre on Thursday 19 September between 10.30am and 1pm. The event is free to attend.

There will be a variety of partners from across Bedford Borough, showcasing all that is
available to residents to take control of their health and wellbeing. There will also be a variety of taster sessions and refreshments available.

WalkEnjoy a walk in Jubilee Park every Monday between 10am to 11am.

Free to attend, meet at the Jubilation Centre, MK42 0HL and stay on after for a social chat and cuppa.
