Works carried out this week:
- Mill Road carriageway resurfaced and white lining last weekend
- Mill Road footpaths final surface installed last weekend
- TM removed from Mill Road
- Heras fences moved back
- Topsoil reinstated and seeding to Highway verges
- Onsite planting around ponds has continued
Programmed works for the weekend:
- The construction site will be open but for onsite works only.
I would like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank you and the local residents for their patience and cooperation during the S278 works on Mill Road. I understand it has not been an easy time and there has been significant disruption but I believe ECL have managed it very well and have been considerate.
In light of the completion of Mill Road works, I suggest my updates are moved to fortnightly as the majority of works will be contained onsite. If there is anything major that will affect the village or local residents I will endeavour to inform you prior to the fortnightly update.
