The Average Speed Camera installation on Odell Road was due to have been completed by the end of the Summer.
Some additional steps in the finance and procurement process at Bedford Borough Council has resulted in a delay in the installation of the average speed cameras.
The Engineering Services Team at Bedford Borough Council have advised that the tender process for the procurement of the cameras is live and the return date for the bids is the 5th of October. We will then receive an update on the project cost and a timeline for the installation.
