People aged 40 and over can now book their COVID-19 vaccination. You can also book your vaccination appointment if:

  • you’ll turn 40 before 1 July 2021
  • you’re at high risk from COVID-19 (clinically extremely vulnerable)
  • you have a condition that puts you at higher risk (clinically vulnerable)
  • you have a learning disability
  • you’re an eligible frontline health or social care worker
  • you get a Carer’s Allowance, get support following an assessment by your local authority or your GP record shows you are a carer

To arrange your vaccination appointment:

  • You can use the online National Booking Service via the NHS website
  • You can call 119 free of charge, anytime between 7am and 11pm seven days a week.

The election for the Bedfordshire Police and Crime Commissioner will take place on Thursday 6 May. Make sure you cast your vote and make your voice heard.

Due to COVID-19, there will be safety measures in place at polling stations, to help you stay safe.

Social distancing measures will be in place, and there may be a limit on how many people are allowed inside the polling station.

When you go inside, you will be expected to wear a face covering like you do when you go into shops or on public transport (unless exempt).
